While students at Arkansas Tech University are enjoying a break from classes, university officials are already planning the 2014 Fall Student Involvement Fair. The fair will take place Monday, August 25 at 6 p.m. at the Hindsman Bell Tower, and the fair is hosted by the GOLD Cabinet in conjunction with welcome activities for new students. Registered Student Organizations wishing to have a booth at the fair should reserve a space by visiting the GOLD Cabinet’s page on theLink. The deadline for student organizations to register to participate in the fair is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6. As part of the fair, representatives from campus organizations will have the opportunity to meet with new students and share information about their organization. Student organizations best showcasing the university will be awarded prizes. Community businesses are also invited to attend the fair to share more about their business or agency.
