International Perspectives Panel Today

 

“International Perspectives: Classrooms Around the World” will introduce a panel of international students to discuss education in their respective countries today at noon in Doc Bryan Room 242.

This panel discussion, the second event held this week in honor of International Education Week, will feature Arkansas Tech international students discussing the role and importance of education and how classes differ from those in the United States.

Other topics of discussion include the difference in teaching and learning styles, classroom etiquette, and education structures in their various countries.

The panel will be comprised of Nabil Oumimoun (Morocco), Kristina Mariswamy (Malaysia), Dan Zhao (China), Asuka Ito (Japan) and Maria Aleman Chona (Venezuela).

The event is hosted by the International and Multicultural Student Services Office.
