The International and Multicultural Student Services Office is hosting “International Perspectives” today, at which a panel of international students will discuss aspects of growing up in their native country.
“International Perspectives: Growing Up Around the World” is in honor of International Education Week 2011. Topics will include daily routine, roles of education, popular childhood games and stories and their memory of world events. This event will be held in the Doc Bryan Multipurpose Room at noon.
Other events for International Education Week include an international fashion show yesterday, a trivia competition tomorrow, a 50 Minute Tour of Saudi Arabia on Thursday and a screening of “Invisible Children” on Friday.
Activities will culminate Friday with the International Festival and Talent Expo. The winners of the “Growing Up” photo contest will be announced at the Expo.
The events are sponsored by the International and Multicultural Student Services Office.
