Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the institution are invited to attend the third annual International Film Festival at Arkansas Tech University during the spring 2018 semester.
Eight films in five languages will be screened during the festival, which is part of the On Track program under the Global Focus track.
Below is a schedule of showings for the festival. Each screening is free and open to the public, and each one will begin at 7 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall.
- Wednesday, Feb. 28: “Nueve Reinas” (Spanish)
- Thursday, March 1: “Battle Royale” (Japanese)
- Tuesday, March 6: “Cinema Paradiso” (Italian)
- Wednesday, March 7: “Dans la Maison” (French)
- Thursday, March 8: “Die Welle” (German)
- Tuesday, March 13: “Rudo y Cursi” (Spanish)
- Wednesday, March 14: “Ran” (Japanese)
- Thursday, March 15: “Welcome” (French, Kurdish, English, and Turkish)
The festival is organized by the staff of the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center in coordination with the ATU Department of English and World Languages.
