Interdisciplinary Research Series Continues

Dr. Guolin Yi, assistant professor of history at Arkansas Tech University, will offer a presentation entitled “Da Waixuan (Great Foreign Propaganda): The Global Projection of China’s Soft Power” in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall room 134 on Friday, Oct. 5.

It will be the third ATU Interdisciplinary Research Series lecture of the fall 2018 semester. Yi’s remarks will begin at 3:30 p.m. A reception will follow, and all members of the university community are invited to attend.

Yi holds a degree from Sichuan International Studies University as well as a Master of Arts degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Wayne State University.

The ATU Interdisciplinary Research Center Board is accepting research talk proposals for the spring 2019 semester. Projects can be individual or collaborative, and interdisciplinary research or scholarship is encouraged. Research projects may be qualitative, quantitative or both.
