Input Needed at ATU Brand Study Workshops

Arkansas Tech University students, faculty, staff, alumni and community supporters will have nine opportunities in October to attend workshops that will launch a brand study of the institution.

ATU’s brand study partners at Carnegie Dartlet will host two distinct and integrated phases of workshops: personality and platform.

“The personality workshops define the authentic human personality of Arkansas Tech both today and tomorrow, while the platform workshops cascade these insights into messaging and storyline outcomes,” according to Carnegie Dartlet. “The results are powerful, and will unify the communication — and thus the reputation — of the institution for years to come.”

The workshops are scheduled at the following locations at the dates and times noted below:

Tuesday, Oct. 23 – Ozark Campus (Student Services Conference Center)

  • Personality Workshop #1: 9-11:30 a.m.
  • Personality Workshop #2: 1-3 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 24 – Russellville Campus (W.O. Young Building Ballroom)

  • Personality Workshop #1: 9-11 a.m.
  • Personality Workshop #2: 1-3 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 25 – Ozark Campus (Student Services Conference Center)

  • Platform Workshop #1: 9-11 a.m.
  • Platform Workshop #2: 1-3 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 26 – Russellville Campus (W.O. Young Building Ballroom)

  • Platform Workshop #1: 8-10 a.m.
  • Platform Workshop #2: Noon-2 p.m.
  • Platform Workshop #3: 3-5 p.m.

Advance registration for each workshop is available at http://bit.ly/atubrandstudy. Participants should only attend one workshop per day, but are welcome to attend one personality workshop and one platform workshop.

“We want and need a wide variety of individuals with a connection to and involvement with Arkansas Tech University to participate in this process,” said Dr. Blake Bedsole, vice president for enrollment management at ATU. “Their participation will provide an accurate narrative of ATU today and what we aspire to become in the future. Doing so will allow the university to communicate its authentic identity to prospective students and other key audiences. Please join us for what will be highly interactive and important conversations about our university.”
