IMSSO Students Prepare for Fall

International students will soon begin arriving in the Natural State to begin the year at Arkansas Tech.  Many of the new international students will begin arriving this afternoon and will start meeting with the Arkansas Tech International and Multicultural Student Services Office.

On Saturday, students will take part in several orientation sessions to help them acclimate to the campus and life in the United States.

Saturday afternoon students who are living on campus will be able to move into their residence halls, and those living off campus will have free time to begin moving into their apartments.

Throughout the day on Monday, the students will begin registering for classes.  Other activities planned for Monday include information on banking options and information on healthy habits while living in the United States.

Organizers say while it is a busy few days, the orientation program helps ensure the students have a successful transition to life at Arkansas Tech.
