The Golden Suns have a home record of 104-8 during head coach Dave Wilbers’ eight seasons as their head coach. Arkansas Tech took 2-of-3 games from Southeastern Oklahoma State last season, defeating the Savage Storm 79-76 at Tucker Coliseum on Feb. 24, 2014, and 84-53 in the first round of the 2014 GAC Tournament at Bartlesville, Okla. The Golden Suns’ leading scorers so far in 2014-15 are junior forward Fatima Adams (20.9 points per game), sophomore guard Anissa Pounds (12.2 points per game) and junior guard Katrina Hayden (11.8 points per game). About the Savage Storm: Southeastern Oklahoma State is well acquainted with close games. Each of the Savage Storm’s last three GAC wins have come by four points or less. SOSU saw a three-game winning streak come to an end with a 76-67 loss to Harding University on Saturday. Senior guard Emily Williams averaged 28.5 points per game in two regular season contests against Arkansas Tech last season. The Golden Suns held her scoreless in their postseason match-up at the GAC Tournament. Williams is the Savage Storm’s leading scorer this season (17.1 points per game). Leading scorers include senior guard Mike Balogun (13.1 points per game) and junior forward Nick Wayman (10.2 points per game). The Wonder Boys are 6-0 this season when they hold their opponent below 40 percent shooting from the floor. They are 2-7 when their opponent makes more than 40 percent of their field goal attempts.  Arkansas Tech has won three of its last four men’s basketball games with Southeastern Oklahoma State, including a 63-58 win over the Savage Storm in the first round of the 2014 GAC Tournament. About the Savage Storm: The highlight of Southeastern Oklahoma State’s season so far was a 69-66 win at NCAA Division I member University of Tulsa on Dec. 10. That triumph has become even more impressive in recent weeks as Tulsa has won six of its last seven games — including a victory over defending national champion Connecticut — to claim sole possession of first place in the American Athletic Conference.
