Forty will be narrowed down to five today, as students are selecting five ladies for the 2011 Homecoming Court.
Arkansas Tech students will be able to elect their homecoming court from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Baswell Techionery.
The woman who receives the most votes will be announced queen during the Homecoming pre-game festivities on Saturday, Oct. 22 before the Wonder Boys take on Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Students must present a valid Tech I.D. in order to vote.
The elected queen and her court will ride in the Homecoming parade and be introduced on the field at the football game. All nominees and their families are invited to a nominee reception before the game.
