Quincy University swept a non-conference baseball doubleheader from Arkansas Tech University at Tech Field in Russellville on Tuesday.
The Hawks (4-5) defeated the Wonder Boys by scores of 21-18 and 14-10. The doubleheader saw the two teams combine for 51 base hits.
Twelve different pitchers worked in game one, while nine different pitchers labored in the nightcap. The two pitching staffs combined to walk 26 batters and hit 17 batters with pitches during the doubleheader.
Arkansas Tech (10-10) will visit Ouachita Baptist for a Great American Conference series this weekend. The Wonder Boys and the Tigers will play two games beginning at noon on Saturday, March 10, and a single contest starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 11.
