Hall of Distinction Member Pens WWII Memoir

Arkansas Tech alumnus Jock Davis has authored “Brothers Four,” a recollection of the service that he and his siblings rendered to the United States of America during World War II.

Davis graduated from Arkansas Tech with a degree in business administration and marketing in 1950. He worked in sales, sales management and education in the poultry industry for 50 years and was inducted into the Arkansas Tech Hall of Distinction under the Distinguished Alumnus category in 2006.

His book recalls life during the Great Depression and Davis’ service in the Pacifc during World War II.

The summary on the back of the book states that the story “epitomizes the grit, determination and striving for excellence” that defined the World War II generation in the United States.

Davis self-published his book through Wordclay.
