Group Counseling for Perfectionism Offered

The Arkansas Tech University Counseling Center has planned a group counseling opportunity for students that will address the issue of perfectionism during the fall 2016 semester.

The group will meet from 4-5 p.m. each Thursday from Oct. 6-Nov. 10 at Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 325.

“Many college students struggle with perfectionism, which is having unreasonably high standards and experiencing excessive self-criticism when those standards aren’t met,” said Craig Witcher, counselor in the Arkansas Tech Counseling Center. “This group is designed to provide education, resources and the opportunity for participants to process their experiences of perfectionism with a licensed counselor and a group of students with similar struggles.”
