The rain moved out of the Arkansas River Valley with perfect timing to provide Wonder Boys fans with a great atmosphere for tailgating at the first Party at the Plaza of 2010 on Thursday, Sept. 2.
Children enjoyed the inflatable bump-and-jump games, Tech students mingled at the Greek Luau and most everyone else relaxed at the Chartwells picnic-style buffet.
Party at the Plaza is a pre-game celebration before every home Arkansas Tech football game. It happens on Centennial Plaza, which is located between Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field and Williamson Hall. The party is open and free to the public.

The next Party at the Plaza is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18, when Arkansas Tech will host Henderson State for Family Day. Party at the Plaza will begin at 4 p.m., while kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
