The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management recently approved a Citizens Corps Program Grant in the amount of $3,554.10 for Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus to implement a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
The Franklin County Office of Emergency Management will facilitate CERT training to a team of 20 made up of faculty, staff, and students from the Ozark campus.
Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, chancellor said, “The security of the campus community is our priority. This grant provides a great opportunity to offer training to our employees and students to enhance the safety of our campus environment.”
