Graduate assistants at Arkansas Tech will undergo training for the upcoming year at the Graduate Assistant (GA) Orientation sessions next week.
The Graduate College is hosting the training sessions to prepare students to gain personal and professional knowledge, experience, and networking opportunities throughout the year.
This is the first time a graduate orientation has been held, and it is designed to help graduate assistants understand their job responsibilities and duties.
Current graduate assistants are required to attend one of the following sessions: Monday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. or Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m.
