Arkansas Tech remained undefeated in Great American Conference volleyball play by defeating the Arkansas-Monticello Cotton Blossoms 25-17, 25-20, 25-21 at Steelman Field House in Monticello on Thursday.
The Golden Suns (13-1 overall, 4-0 GAC) got 12 kills from Laura Farney as they won their 13th consecutive match.
Kelly O’Malley and Sara Motsinger added eight kills apiece for Arkansas Tech, which recorded a team hitting percentage of .308 (41 kills, 13 attack errors, 91 total attempts).
Christina Rini had six kills and six blocks for Arkansas-Monticello (2-9, 0-4).
The Golden Suns will return home to Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Tuesday, Sept. 27, for a 7 p.m. GAC match against East Central University (Okla.). No admission will be charged.
