Game One: Tech 5, HSU 2 Ashton Long hit a walk-off, three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Arkansas Tech a 5-2 victory over Henderson State in game one on Friday. Sydnee Clark (13-9) pitched a complete game for the Golden Suns. She limited the Lady Reddies to two runs, one of which was earned, on seven hits. Clark recorded 10 strikeouts. Game Two: Tech 2, HSU 1 Jalissa Gum delivered a walk-off, RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning as Arkansas Tech topped Henderson State 2-1 in Friday’s nightcap. Victoria Huie (9-12) scored the winning run and was the winning pitcher. She allowed one unearned run while striking out three and scattering nine hits over nine innings.]]>
