Game One: UM-Duluth 4, Arkansas Tech 2 Jordan Rice's RBI double in the top of the seventh inning put Minnesota-Duluth in front for good in a 4-2 Bulldogs' victory over Arkansas Tech on Thursday. Cayli Sadler added a run-scoring single later in the frame to set what proved to be the final score. Tech's Courtney Colunga had a one-out, pinch-hit single in the bottom of the seventh to bring the potential tying run to the plate, but Sadler --- who pitched a complete game for Minnesota-Duluth --- was able to retire the next two Golden Suns to end the game. Sadler (10-6) was charged with two runs on six hits over seven innings. Arkansas Tech starting pitcher Victoria Huie (4-6) also pitched a complete game. She allowed four runs on seven hits and struck out seven. Whitney Robinson added an RBI single in the fourth inning and Ashton Long blasted a two-run home run in the sixth inning for the Golden Suns, who rapped out 12 base hits in the victory. Sydnee Clark (5-4) limited the Bulldogs to one run on two hits over five and one-third innings. She notched five strikeouts.
