Arkansas Tech won game one of the series 16-13. The Golden Suns (10-4 overall, 4-2 GAC) will visit Pittsburg State University for a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, March 10. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. Game Two: SOSU 17, Tech 13 Southeastern Oklahoma State rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Arkansas Tech 17-13 in the completion of Saturday’s second game. Conner Harmon’s walk-off grand slam to left field won it for the Savage Storm. Arkansas Tech’s Ashley Savage and Kamrbi Hill both had four runs batted in. Game Three: Tech 14, SOSU 3 Arkansas Tech belted six home runs in a mercy rule-shortened 14-3 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State in game three of the series on Sunday. Alexa Wimberly and Shanna Davidson had two home runs apiece in the victory, while Whitney Robinson and Savage both hit one home run. Wimberly drove in a total of six runs. Sydnee Clark (3-1) was the winning pitcher for Arkansas Tech. She allowed one run on three hits in three innings of relief. Game Four: SOSU 5, Tech 4 Southeastern Oklahoma State celebrated its second walk-off win of the day, defeating Arkansas Tech 5-4 on Haley Strawn’s RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning.
