Arkansas Tech University advanced one position to No. 22 in the USA Today Sports NCAA Division II women’s basketball top 25 poll released on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The Golden Suns (8-2 overall, 6-0 Great American Conference) defeated Southeastern Oklahoma State University 70-65 and East Central University 64-52 last week during a two-game road trip. It was Tech’s first action following a 23-day break for the holidays.
Arkansas Tech has been ranked in all seven of the USA Today Sports top 25 polls during the 2015-16 season.
The Golden Suns will visit Ouachita Baptist University for a 5:30 p.m. GAC contest at Vining Arena in Arkadelphia on Thursday, Jan. 14. Radio station KCJC 102.3 FM and www.arkansastechsports.com will have live coverage.
