Arkansas Tech University advanced one position to No. 19 in the USA Today Sports NCAA Division II women’s basketball top 25 poll released by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The Golden Suns (6-1 overall, 4-0 Great American Conference) earned a pair of league wins last week.
Arkansas Tech defeated Oklahoma Baptist University 88-58 on Thursday and Southern Nazarene University 90-63 on Saturday.
Head coach Dave Wilbers and the Golden Suns will visit Drury University for an 11 a.m. non-conference game at the O’Reilly Family Event Center in Springfield, Mo., on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Drury (7-0) is ranked No. 4 in this week’s top 25 poll.
Radio station KCJC 102.3 FM and www.arkansastechsports.com will have live coverage of the Tech-Drury game.
