Arkansas Tech University collected six awards at the 2018 Great American Conference women’s tennis banquet on Wednesday night in Bentonville.
ATU junior Katharina Drebka of Stuttgart, Germany, was named GAC newcomer of the year, while Tech’s Julia Schoch of Montreal, Canada, was selected GAC freshman of the year.
Drebka and sophomore Kami Ward of Hot Springs represented the Golden Suns on the All-GAC first team.
Schoch and her teammate, junior Annabel Rowlands of Wigan, England, were voted to the All-GAC second team.
