Arkansas Tech will try to end the longest active winning streak in Great American Conference softball when the Golden Suns visit the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm for a four-game series in Durant, Okla., this weekend.
The Golden Suns (11-13 overall, 5-5 GAC) and the Savage Storm (20-12, 12-4) will play doubleheaders beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, and 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 25.

Southeastern Oklahoma State is in first place in the GAC softball standings thanks in part to a five-game winning streak. The Savage Storm is 8-2 in its last 10 games.
SOSU features the reigning GAC pitcher of the week (Audra Rhudy) and the reigning GAC player of the week (Lindsey Lacy).
The Golden Suns have been idle since they split a non-conference doubleheader with Lincoln University last Sunday. Arkansas Tech is in fourth place in the eight-team GAC softball standings.
