Arkansas Tech University and Henderson State University split a four-game Great American Conference softball series in Arkadelphia on Sunday and Monday.
The Golden Suns (15-9 overall, 9-3 GAC) are scheduled to host Southern Nazarene University for a GAC series at the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex in Russellville on Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18.
First pitch is set for 3 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday. Admission will be free.

Game One: HSU 3, Tech 2
Henderson State’s Alyssa Dixon hit a home run in the bottom of the 19th inning to end the longest softball game in GAC history and give the Reddies a 3-2 victory over Arkansas Tech on Friday.
Game Two: Tech 5, HSU 2
Megan Goodnight went 4-for-4 with two doubles and four runs batted in to lead Arkansas Tech to a 5-2 win against Henderson State in Friday’s nightcap.
Game Three: HSU 3, Tech 2
Kylie Buttram’s walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning gave Henderson State a 3-2 victory over Arkansas Tech in Saturday’s first game.
Game Four: Tech 4, HSU 3
Arkansas Tech took the series finale from Henderson State 4-3 on Saturday afternoon behind an RBI single from Janie Knowles in the top of the ninth inning.
