Arkansas Tech earned its seventh consecutive volleyball victory by defeating the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs 25-19, 25-13, 25-21 at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Monday night.
The Golden Suns (25-4) rolled up 10 service aces, four of which came from Kera Dukic, on their way to victory. Dukic (photographed) also had 26 assists.
Tech’s Kelly O’Malley made 12 kills against just two attack errors in 23 total attempts for a .435 hitting percentage. Sarah Von Lienen notched nine kills and Laura Farney recorded 13 digs for the Golden Suns.
Stephanie Parker had eight kills for Southwestern Oklahoma State (8-19).
Arkansas Tech will visit Christian Brothers in a battle for first place in the Gulf South Conference West Division volleyball standings on Thursday. First serve at Canale Arena in Memphis, Tenn., is scheduled for 7 p.m.]]>
