Arkansas Tech University finished in 10th place among a field of 17 women’s golf teams at the Barry University Invitational in Miami Lakes, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday.
The Golden Suns posted team scores of 304-306-312 for a 922 total. Nova Southeastern University won the team title with a 54-hole score of 873.
Peerada Piddon (T-28th, 76-77-74-227), Pia Nunbhakdi (T-28th, 75-74-78-227), Avery Struck (T-41st, 76-80-75-231), Allie Weiner (T-63rd, 80-75-85-240) and Holly Standing (T-71st, 77-80-85-242) represented the Golden Suns in the event.
Arkansas Tech will compete in the Central Region Spring Preview April 9-10 in Springfield, Mo.
