Golden Suns Earn Fourth Consecutive Victory

Arkansas Tech University bounced back from a slow start to defeat the University of Arkansas-Monticello 15-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22 in Great American Conference volleyball at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Tuesday night.

The Golden Suns (19-10 overall, 9-4 GAC) finished with a team hitting percentage of .279 (54 kills, 15 errors, 140 total attempts), compared to UAM’s .148 team hitting percentage (42 kills, 22 errors, 135 total attempts).

Hunter Eshnaur made a match-high 15 kills and McCall Wilkins added 10 kills for Arkansas Tech. Wilkins had one solo block and six block assists.

Amanda Milnick (26 assists), Sarah Rosinke (15 assists) and Madison Nagel (16 digs) were also among the Golden Suns’ statistical leaders on Tuesday.

Arkansas Tech will visit Southern Arkansas University for a 7 p.m. GAC match in Magnolia on Thursday, Nov. 3.

The Golden Suns’ final home match of the season is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, against Harding University. Admission to Tucker Coliseum will be free.
