Arkansas Tech University’s cross country team finished eighth in the season-opening University of Central Oklahoma Land Run at Edmond, Okla., on Saturday.
Aubre Gilreath (35th, 21:19.0), Halle Gilreath (40th, 21:44.7), Maddy Hubbard (45th, 22:50.4), Astrid Christensen (48th, 23:14.4), Megan Bradley (49th, 23:24.7), Kayla Whillock (50th, 24:38.2) and Adrianna Simmons (51st, 25:01.3) represented ATU in Edmond.
The Golden Suns will run in the University of Central Arkansas Cross Country Challenge on Saturday, Sept. 8, in Conway.
