Arkansas Tech University accumulated 54 points to finish second among a three-team field in the Tech Twilight women’s cross country meet at Russellville on Friday evening.
Harding University won the meet with 11 points. The University of Central Arkansas finished third with 62 points.
Halle Gilreath (4th, 11:53.3) and Aubre Gilreath (5th, 11:58.8) were the Golden Suns’ top performers in the two-mile race. Maddy Hubbard (16th, 13:04.9), Brynn Elliott (17th, 13:06.5), Mallory White (18th, 13:19.4), Astrid Christensen (19th, 13:24.9), Adrianna Simmons (20th, 13:56.3) and Raven Turner (22nd, 17:10.5) also competed on behalf of Arkansas Tech.
The Golden Suns will run in the Great American Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 3, in Bethany, Okla.
