Golden Suns 13th in Latest National Poll

Arkansas Tech dropped four spots to No. 13 in the USA Today/ESPN NCAA Division II top 25 poll released on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

The Golden Suns (11-3 overall, 3-3 Great American Conference) went 2-1 over the past week.

Arkansas Tech registered GAC wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State (61-55 on Thursday) and Henderson State (80-63 on Saturday), but Harding defeated the Golden Suns 77-69 at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Monday night. It was Tech’s first home women’s basketball loss since Feb. 21, 2009.
