The Arkansas Tech University Golden Girls are on the Arkansas Tech campus taking part in a dance camp.
The dance team is working with a choreographer this week during practices. The choreographer is helping the Golden Girls perfect their dance technique and helping the team learn dances for the coming year.
The Golden Girls practice several hours each day during the summer, and the practices will run through next week.
During the practices, the Golden Girls are learning several dances, cheers and chants that will be used this fall during football games.
Co-captains Dani Mann and DeAnna Johnson say the Golden Girls will also practice several hours each day once classes begin later this month.
