After long anticipation, Gold Rush 2011 is finally here. Arkansas Tech basketball teams will be hosting Delta State Saturday.
Here is a schedule of events for Saturday, Feb. 19:
2:00 p.m. – Tailgating begins and free food will be served
2:50 p.m. – Pep rally to support Wonder Boys and Golden Suns
3:15 p.m. – “Scream for Green” Competition
3:30 p.m. – Free t-shirts will be given out to students
4:00 p.m. – Golden Suns game
6:00 p.m. – Wonder Boys game
The WonderWeek 2011 committee encourages everyone to come out and support the teams. “We want to pack the stands with gold,” said Jake Smith, chair of the committee.
