Genz Receives All-America Recognition

Logan Genz, a four-year letterman for the Arkansas Tech University football program, was named to the 2015 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America team as an honorable mention selection on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Genz made 128 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss and two quarterback sacks while helping the Wonder Boys finish with a 9-3 overall record and a win in the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl during the 2015 season.

A native of West Fork, Genz completed his four-year career with an Arkansas Tech and Great American Conference record 480 tackles. He ranks fourth in NCAA Division II history in career tackles.

Genz is the only Arkansas Tech football player to ever record 100 or more tackles in four consecutive seasons. He is the 46th Arkansas Tech student-athlete to earn All-America recognition in football.
