Future Students Invited to ATU Saturday Showcase

Saturday Showcase 2021
The opportunity for prospective students to interact with Arkansas Tech University faculty members is one aspect of Saturday Showcase.

Saturday Showcase at Arkansas Tech University on Sept. 17 will provide high school students and potential transfer students with insight about the ATU campus in Russellville.

Highlights will include opportunities for prospective students to win fall 2023 scholarships to Arkansas Tech, participate in an application workshop, gain information about campus life and residence life, interact with faculty members and current students and take photos with Jerry the Bulldog, ATU campus ambassador.

Sponsored by the ATU Office of Admissions, Saturday Showcase will begin with registration and check-in on the Wilson Hall lawn from 1:15-1:45 p.m. After a 2 p.m. welcome, participants and their family members will engage in breakout informational sessions and have the option to tour campus and residence halls.

Beginning at 4 p.m., Saturday Showcase attendees will visit a fair with information about academic programs at Arkansas Tech and join pre-game tailgating festivities on the Crabaugh Hall and Wilson Hall lawns.

The day will conclude with a Wonder Boys football game at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Admission to the game will be free for Saturday Showcase participants and their registered guests.
