With the first week of school under their belts, freshmen are weighing in on what their favorite parts of Tech are thus far.
From residence hall life to activities and events, students have found it easy to get acclimated to college life.
“I really like that there are always little things to do,” said Lakyn Phillips of Clarksville. “It’s also really fun living in the dorm and there are things going on there too.”
Phillip Boyd of Mansfield also said his favorite part of Tech has been living in his residence hall. He is living in Nutt Hall with a roommate he did not previously know, and he says it’s been great.
Ashley Benton of Prosper, Texas, said that the beautiful campus is what she has been enjoying most about Tech.
“I like how pretty the campus is,” said Benton. “It’s not a normal campus in that way. I also love being able to walk everywhere.”
