Arkansas Tech was picked in a preseason poll of league head coaches to finish tied for third in the nine-team league this season, while Henderson State is the coaches' preseason favorite to win the first GAC title.

The Wonder Boys will open their 2011 football season on Saturday, Sept. 3, with a 6 p.m. GAC game against Arkansas-Monticello at Convoy Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium in Monticello.
