Fisher Named Associate VP for Development

Mike Hutchison, vice president for advancement at Arkansas Tech University, has announced that Bryan Fisher will serve in the role of associate vice president for development at ATU effective May 1, 2017.

A native of Russellville and 1999 graduate of Arkansas Tech, Fisher has worked in the ATU Division of Advancement since 2011. He has served as director of athletic relations as well as director of major gifts and athletic enhancement. Prior to his employment at Arkansas Tech, Fisher worked as an insurance agent for 11 years.

“Bryan has a deep affinity for and connection to Arkansas Tech University,” said Hutchison. “He will be tasked with overseeing all of the fund raising staff and functions of the university as well as connecting donor’s passions with the university’s greatest needs. We look forward to Bryan’s continued professional development in this new leadership role.”

Fisher is vice president for the Russellville Lions Club. He serves on the boards for the Russellville Housing Authority, the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Russellville Department of Recreation and Parks.
