The Golden Suns have won three consecutive games and five of their last six. Senior forward Jessica Weatherford has reached double figures in scoring every game this season. She ranks third in the GAC in scoring (18.3 points per game) and fifth in the league in rebounding (7.9 per game). About the Lady Bisons: Harding was selected in a preseason poll of league head coaches as the favorite to win the 2012-13 Great American Conference women’s basketball championship. The Lady Bisons are joined by Arkansas Tech, East Central and Ouachita Baptist in a four-way tie for first place in the GAC standings. The Wonder Boys have won their last three road games against Harding, including an 84-79 victory at Rhodes Field House on Feb. 20, 2012, to clinch the inaugural GAC regular season championship. Jared Williamson, a senior guard on this year’s Arkansas Tech team, scored 20 points and made four steals in that victory over the Bisons. About the Bisons: Harding has won seven consecutive games to take sole possession of first place in the GAC men’s basketball standings. The Bisons lead the conference in free throw percentage (.745) and 3-point field goals made (8.4 per game).
