Financial Aid Releases Summer 2023 Aid Details

Arkansas Tech University Logo

The Arkansas Tech University Office of Financial Aid will start packaging aid for summer 2023 around the first of April.

Students will receive an e-mail award notice showing their eligibility shortly after they register for summer classes. The 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be used to award summer aid in most cases.

Students who used all of their 2022-2023 aid in fall/spring may still be eligible for summer aid. Contact The ATU Office of Financial Aid at (479) 968-0399 or fa.help@atu.edu to inquire about summer eligibility.

Students must be enrolled in at least six hours to be eligible for student loans in the summer. Also, those who attended full-time in fall and spring may need to be in six hours to receive summer Pell grant.

Summer aid will only pay for classes in which a student is enrolled as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023. No more aid will be given for classes after this date.

Students should always check with the ATU Office of Financial Aid if they plan to add or drop a class as this could affect their aid eligibility.

Students must complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA to receive aid for fall 2023 and spring 2024. Students who have not completed the 2023-2024 FAFSA should do so as soon as possible.

Contact the ATU Office of Financial Aid at (479) 968-0399 or fa.help@atu.edu for more information or to discuss aid eligibility.
