FEMA Division Director to Speak at Tech

Kenneth Clark, division director for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Operations Division, will share his knowledge with students and faculty at Arkansas Tech University on Thursday, April 19.

Clark (photographed) will speak in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300 beginning at 11 a.m.

There will be a short presentation followed by an extended question and answer session. The event is open to the public.

Clark has more than 20 years of experience in hazardous materials and oil spill response.

His background includes working with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on environmental clean-up projects.

Clark holds two degrees from Texas A&M University. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering in 1982 and his Master of Science degree in civil engineering in 1998.
