Family Day 2012 drew thousands of people to the Arkansas Tech University campus for a day full of events on Saturday, Sept. 15.
Originally known as Dad’s Day, Family Day has been a part of the annual calendar at Arkansas Tech since 1924.
Eighty-eight years later, Family Day remains an opportunity for parents and other family members to see how their college student is adapting to life at Arkansas Tech.
This year’s schedule of Family Day events included a golf outing at Russellville Country Club, a jazz brunch at Baswell Techionery, pre-game tailgating on Centennial Plaza and a Great American Conference football game between Arkansas Tech and Henderson State.
