Student organizations are now able to begin reserving a space for the “Make Your Move” Fall Student Involvement Fair to be held during Tech Connect.
The fair is set for Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Organizations will have the opportunity to recruit new members and create student awareness of each organization’s purpose.
The event will take place on the lawn outside of Chambers Cafeteria. The move was made to provide a more ideal location to accommodate students as they are coming and going from lunch.
A large tent will be provided at the location to provide shade.
Student organization representatives should begin setting up at 10 a.m. on the morning of the fair.
Again this year, a prize will be awarded to the student organization that best incorporates the theme, “Make Your Move.” Groups are encouraged to incorporate their favorite childhood board game.
The deadline to reserve a space is Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. Organizations can register by clicking here to access the Student Involvement Fair online form.
Following the event, organizations will be able to host events from 5:30-10 p.m. and invite interested students to get to know the members of the organization.
