Fall Dinner Series Continues Thursday

Tastes of Japan will be highlighted by hospitality administration students at Arkansas Tech University during this week’s edition of the 2012 fall dinner series at Williamson Hall Dining Room.

Tastes of Japan will be highlighted by hospitality administration students at Arkansas Tech University during this week’s edition of the 2012 fall dinner series at Williamson Hall Dining Room.

Reserved seating times for the meal are available from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Cost for the meal will be $19.95 plus tax. All gratuities are invested in the Walters-Williams Scholarship.

Below are the menu items, with descriptions of each course as provided by the hospitality administration program:

  • Okonomiyaki
    “Japanese savory pancake served with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, dried bonito flakes and scallions”
  • Japanese-Style House Salad
    “Fresh mixed greens with Roma tomato, shredded carrots, cucumber and a house salad dressing”
  • Hibachi
    “Hibachi served with your choice of two meats (chicken, shrimp or steak) sautéed vegetables, fried rice and a ginger dipping sauce”
  • Tempura Fried Ice Cream
    “Strawberry ice cream wrapped in pound cake, lightly battered and deep fried; served with a fruit reduction sauce and whipped cream”
