Fall Choir Concert Scheduled for Tuesday

The Arkansas Tech University Department of Music will present a fall concert featuring its Chamber Choir and Concert Chorale on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Witherspoon Auditorium.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.

The Chamber Choir will perform an Irish melody entitled “Dúlamán” and arranged by David Mooney as well as Scottish folk song “Loch Lomond” arranged by Jonathan Quick. Additional pieces will include “Two Love Songs” by Robert Young and “Sing Unto God” by Paul Fetler.

Psalm settings arranged by Thomas Cousins and Felix Mendelssohn will be featured during the Concert Chorale performance, as will “Whom Will You Cry To” as arranged by Richard Burchard and “John the Revelator” as arranged by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory.
