Faculty Return to Tech This Week

Arkansas Tech University faculty will return to campus this week to begin preparations for the 2011-12 academic year.

On Friday, faculty will gather in the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center for the general faculty meeting.

Tech President Dr. Robert C. Brown will address the faculty during the meeting, which marks the start of the academic year at Arkansas tech.

In addition to Dr. Brown’s address, Susie Nicholson, vice president for Student Services, Yasu Onodera, director of the International and Multicultural Student Services Office; Shauna Donnell, assistant vice president of enrollment management; and Mary Gunter, dean of the Graduate College will address the faculty about the students who will be attending classes this fall at Arkansas Tech.

Following the meeting, a luncheon honoring new faculty members is planned.
