Faculty and staff new to the Arkansas Tech campus teaching Tech 1001, are learning new ways to help incoming freshman succeed in college.
Tech 1001 is a class designed to answer questions incoming freshman typically have, as well as help students learn and develop skills needed so they can get the most out of their college experience. The course discusses topics such as time management, study skills, and ways to get involved on campus. The class also covers Arkansas Tech history and traditions.
The Tech 1001 class is one of three orientation classes that are offered to entering freshman as a requirement for freshman. This is the fifth year that Arkansas Tech has offered the Tech 1001 course.
