The Office of Student Services is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but will mirror the bookstore’s hours on Aug. 27-28 and Sept. 2.
Students can charge books to their financial aid Monday, Aug. 25, through Wednesday, Sept. 3. Bookstore hours will return to the regular schedule of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Student Services of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4.
Bookstore Manager Mitzi Reano said students need to bring a copy of their class schedule when purchasing books.
Full refunds can be issued for new or used books returned to the bookstore in the same condition in which they were purchased with a receipt and Tech I.D. through Wednesday, Sept. 3, which is the 5th day of classes.
Students who drop a class after Sept. 3 might be eligible for a partial to full refund up to four weeks after classes begin depending on the condition of the returned textbook. Students must have their receipt and provide a drop slip to return books after Sept. 3.
Reano also said students choosing to purchase textbooks elsewhere need to know the international standard book number (ISBN) of their textbooks to ensure they are purchasing the correct books.
