Wilderness photographer Tim Ernst will present a program entitled “Arkansas Splendor” on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Arkansas Tech University.

"Arkansas Splendor" includes 132 all-new color photographs captured by Ernst at some of Arkansas' most scenic destinations.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall, 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.

Ernst’s photographs have been featured in such publications as National Geographic, the New York Times, Audubon and Outside. Nineteen collections of his photographs have been published as coffee table books.

The Arkansas Tech Department of Parks, Recreation and Hospitality Administration, TAKAHIK River Valley Hikers and Monfee Medical Clinic are co-sponsors for the Dec. 5 event. Refreshments will be served and there will be a book signing.
