The Arkansas Tech Brass Ensemble presents the eighth annual Brass in the Clouds on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Mt. Nebo State Park.
Brass in the Clouds, which is co-sponsored by Mt. Nebo State Park and the Arkansas Tech Department of Music, will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Mt. Nebo’s Sunset Point and last until sundown.
The event will showcase the talents of the Arkansas Tech Brass Choir under the direction of Dr. Gary Barrow and Dr. Sean Reed.
Barrow said the evening will consist of beautiful live music amidst the great outdoors.
A few selections to be performed include “Susanto Dances” and “De Colores” from the Trumpet Ensemble. The Horn Ensemble will present “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz and “Vacation in Acapulco.” The Arkansas Tech Trombone Ensemble will perform “Achieved is the Glorious Work”
