Eid-Al-Fitr Educational Event Scheduled

The Muslim Students Association is sponsoring an informational event open to all students to learn about Eid-Al-Fitr, the culmination celebration of Ramadan, at noon on Friday in the Doc Bryan Lecture Hall.

This is the first year for MSA to host this event on campus, and the group hopes to see many students interested in learning more about Ramadan and Eid-Al-Fitr.

Following the presentation there will be a time for audience members to ask questions to be answered by an MSA member. There will be a reception beginning at approximately 12:30 p.m. in Doc Bryan Room 104 with refreshments and Arabic calligraphy.

Eid-Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. There are approximately 50 students at Arkansas Tech participating in the MSA program.
